Overview

The Angad Arts Hotel project was an extraordinary opportunity to create a truly unique and interactive experience for guests. The hotel, which has been named one of the craziest in the country, offers guests the chance to choose a room based on an emotion and vibe, and then immerse themselves in an interactive art experience on each floor. As part of the development team, I was fortunate to be involved in bringing the hotel, as well as the rooftop bar and ground floor restaurant, to life through innovative design. From the bold, colorful rooms to the intentional, cohesive design choices throughout the hotel, we aimed to create a common story that would be memorable and engaging for guests. Overall, the Angad Arts Hotel project was a truly exciting and rewarding experience that allowed me to showcase my creative skills and push the boundaries of what is possible in design.


Defining the Narrative

Problem solving is a crucial aspect of my role as a Creative Director, and the Angad Arts Hotel project presented a particularly challenging and exciting opportunity to find creative solutions to complex problems. One of the key challenges we faced was how to effectively target a diverse audience with a brand that was bold, colorful, and unconventional. Through careful data analysis and strategic planning, we were able to identify the key "eyelash" or focal point that would help us hit our target audience and drive engagement. By finding this consistent thread and staying true to our creative vision, we were able to inspire both art critics and the general public, and bring in a spillover of thousands of people who appreciate art on every level. Overall, this project was a rewarding test of my problem-solving skills and a testament to the power of careful planning and strategic thinking in advertising and marketing.

How it All Went Down

As Creative Director on the Angad Arts Hotel project, I was responsible for overseeing the development of the hotel's various brands and ensuring that each touchpoint was cohesive and memorable for guests. This included working closely with the talented Angad team to handpick vendors and collaborate with them in bringing elements of the hotel to life, from the rooftop bar to the ground floor restaurant. My role involved weaving these brands into a cohesive narrative that would engage and inspire guests, and I worked to ensure that every aspect of the hotel experience was dynamic and truly unique. As Creative Director, I was also responsible for managing the creative process and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our vision was realized on time and on budget. Overall, my role on this project was multifaceted and required a strong ability to lead and collaborate with others to achieve our shared goals.
